Household forecasts: Germany

Probabilistic household forecasts for Germany for the years 2021, 2031, and 2041. The forecasts are given as a result of 1,000 simulations with stochastically varying input parameters.

There are three files – one for each year. Each file gives simulated predictive distributions for the numbers of private households of various types.

The household types are as follows (with abbreviations):

• one person (SIN0)

• cohabiting couple (COH)

• married couple (MAR)

• lone father (LFATH)

• lone mother (LMOTH)

• other private household (OTHR)

In each file there is one column for each household type (six columns in all, column headings specified above) and one line for each simulation (1,000 in all).
